Live High, Live Mightysipped by impulsedriven | 07:30 AM | May 22, 2012 | stored in The past two months... -Was inducted as Associate of the Philippine College of Physicians, to which we are entitled after finishing a year of IM Residency. My mom chose my dress and my shoes, and I'm so glad she has good taste. My co-residents and I went to Malate after and settled to watch a show at The Library. -Got chosen to become President of AIMERS, the association of medical residents of the Southern Luzon Chapter. -Joined the Philippine Heart Center Quiz Bee, but we didn't place. It was much fun though. - I saw my ex-boyfriend again, and we watched a movie (The Last Song). I thought that we would amend things, and at least regain our friendship, but it only turned sour. The night ended with me, walking out on him, so angrily. It seems he will not change, and it was just wishful thinking that he would become the person that I met. A month later, I greeted him- "Happy mother's day to your mom, I hope she is well", only to find out that she died the day after we fought. -Fought for my co-residents against the ER med resident ( who also happens to be my friend). I made him aware of the sanction my co-residents would be receiving because of his doing. Argh. Daming issue talaga sa hospital. -OSCE- the biannual oral examinations came to pass. I placed second among all the residents, being bested by Marshell, my former partner, who used to be bitter because I beat him last year. -Got to attend The Feast, and see all my former groupmates again, meet other new faces. I really liked the message on the PM session, where I am reminded to take care of my needs too, in order for me to serve others better. Which reminds me, I wish I can make it to the retreat next next weekend. - Interesting cases - Lambert Eaton Myasthenia Syndrome, One and a half syndrome. Being in the Allergology Clinics and Hema Clinics and Rheuma Clinics. |
